Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Tallahassee Clean, a locally owned and operated residential cleaning company. Our goal is to provide reliable, high-quality cleaning services that leave your home sparkling and stress-free. By booking or using our services, you (“Client” or “Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
Tallahassee Clean specializes in general household cleaning, including recurring cleaning services designed to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of your home. Services may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and other basic cleaning tasks as agreed upon at the time of booking.
Please note:
All quotes are subject to change based on the state and condition of the residence. Our team will provide a final estimate after an on-site or virtual assessment if required.
We do not provide the following services:

Hazardous material remediation

Hoarding cleanup
-
Biohazard, chemical, or bodily fluid cleanup

Mold remediation
-
Pest infestation cleaning
Tallahassee Clean does not perform any cleaning that involves remediation of hazardous materials, whether they be biological, chemical, radiological, or physical. This includes any scenario that poses a risk to humans, animals, or the environment. We reserve the right to decline any service request we deem unsafe for our staff or outside the scope of our offerings.
2. Access and Entry Policy
It is the responsibility of the client to provide safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time. This includes:

Entry through a key, code, or door access

Ensuring pets are secured or properly managed

Providing parking instructions where applicable
Failure to provide access at the scheduled time will result in a missed appointment, and no refunds or credits will be issued.
We are happy to reschedule your appointment for a mutually agreeable time, subject to availability.
3. Payment Policy

All payments for scheduled services are non-refundable.

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

Recurring service clients may be billed automatically through a secure method on file.

Non-payment or declined payments will result in immediate suspension of services until the balance is settled.
4. Satisfaction Guarantee
Our goal is your satisfaction. If you are not happy with any part of your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will make every effort to correct the issue in a timely and reasonable manner. Refunds are not guaranteed but may be considered at the company’s sole discretion.
5. Damages and Liability
Tallahassee Clean is fully licensed and insured. While we take the utmost care in cleaning your home, accidents can happen. In the unlikely event of property damage:

We will assess the situation and, if found to be at fault, provide appropriate compensation or repair.

Claims must be reported within 48 hours of the cleaning appointment.
We are not responsible for:

Pre-existing damages or wear and tear

Items not securely fastened or mounted (e.g., floating shelves, artwork)

Delicate or antique items not disclosed prior to service
Clients are responsible for informing Tallahassee Clean in advance of any fragile or high-value items that require special handling.
6. Pets and Children
While we are a pet-friendly company, for the safety of our team and your animals, we request that pets be secured or supervised during service. We also ask that children be supervised and not in the immediate work area during cleanings.
7. Weather and Safety Policy
In the case of extreme weather or unsafe conditions (e.g., flooding, power outages, natural disasters), Tallahassee Clean reserves the right to reschedule your appointment. We prioritize the safety of both our clients and employees.
8. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including:

Unsafe working conditions

Harassment or inappropriate behavior

Misrepresentation of the cleaning condition

Requests for services outside the agreed scope
9. Legal Compliance
By using our services, you agree not to solicit, hire, or employ any Tallahassee Clean employee directly for private cleaning services during their employment or for a period of 12 months following termination.
10. Privacy Policy
All client information is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing cleaning services and communicating with you about your appointments. We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
11. Changes to Terms
Tallahassee Clean reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
